As the former President and CEO of CDI Corporation, Mitch led a major turnaround of a global engineering and telecommunications outsourcing and staffing company. His bold leadership in rebuilding the executive team, refreshing go-to-market strategies, and acquiring 19 companies all accretive to earnings propelled CDI to new heights — doubling analyst coverage and achieving record stock price performance.

At Ameritech Consumer Services (now part of AT&T), Mitch restructured the operations of the $5 billion flagship business unit and generated record profitability. He earlier led the launch and accelerated the growth of the company’s Small Business Services Division, and he persuaded the Board to enter the security monitoring business in which Ameritech became the #2 national provider. Mitch also developed the pioneering blueprint that launched the company into the lucrative $80 billion long-distance market. He received the first-ever Chairman’s Award for his leadership and delivering superior business results.

Earlier in his career at Kraft, Mitch led two multi-billion-dollar divisions, delivering record profitability and creating the company’s first marketing education and development program. His leadership earned him Kraft’s prestigious Jade Ring for excellence. At Borden, he revitalized the Dairy Products business and introduced a high-impact marketing campaign featuring the iconic Elsie the Cow. At Procter & Gamble, he played key roles in launching Dawn and propelling it to category leadership and revitalizing the well-known Crisco and Duncan Hines brands.
